Brian's Safehouse is a place where those who are seeking to break free from the chaos and hopelessness of addiction can experience the life-restoring powers of God. Since 2008, we have been assisting individuals in their recovery and restoration. Residents stay with us throughout the program, learning how to become truly free from chemical dependencies and the accompanying lifestyles that bring so much despair. We provide the knowledge and tools to empower them to live new lives free from the chaos of drugs and alcohol.

Cofounders Leon and Donita Brush have a passion for helping those struggling with substance use disorders, whether their own or a loved one's. The desire to help began with the loss of their son, Brian, to an overdose, but it has grown into a life's calling. They were uniquely equipped as business owners and leaders in the community to establish and lead Brian’s Safehouse as a nonprofit. Leon’s Master of Arts in Teaching provided him with the skills to build a curriculum that is effective in not only overcoming addiction but also in building the character needed to live a life of value and productivity and to be a leader in the home, church, and community. Leon is the CEO of Brian’s Safehouse.
Jeff's knowledge of the devastating effects of addiction is firsthand, having lost all, including his wife and daughter, because of it. But thanks to the healing power of Jesus Christ, he found freedom from addiction, and his family has been restored. He and Tiffany and their oldest daughter Hailey have grown their family through fostering and then adopting four young siblings. At the Safehouse, Jeff is the program director and a certified life recovery coach with CCAR recovery certification. He has been teaching the 12-Step Life Recovery Curriculum for over a decade. Jeff is living proof to our residents that there is a way out of addiction.
